This amazing little bundle of joy joined us for a newborn mini session in studio. He slept so well for his portrait session and we captured so many gorgeous images ... in fact, so many I could have easily produced a traditional session portrait gallery from his mini session.
We prepare our parents prior to the session with tips on how to arrive with a sleepy baby, and those tips really work! We have been photographing newborn babies for quite awhile now and have learned so much along the way about how to capture these beautiful moments. Newborn portraits are a special type of photography, requiring skill in the specific area of newborn photography. There are so many things that go into play to create this type of art... I wish I could say it is easy, but honestly it takes a lot of time and dedication to the art of newborn photography to perfect these sweet baby images. We have many years of education in the newborn photography arena, which we rely on each and every session to capture these cuddly newborn portraits.

This was one of the most dreamy and romantic maternity portrait sessions ever!
Mom was styled by our makeup artist prior to the photo shoot and she was stunning! Her maternal glow shined throughout the session and her images radiate with love for her baby boy!
We added this gorgeous floral sash around her tummy to define her baby bump and highlight baby. This pink velvet settee was the perfect touch in this rustic field. This entire portrait session was custom styled between myself and my set designer and the end results are amazing!
