Another gorgeous class of 2019 senior in front of our lens and here’s a peek from her session. We met at the studio prior to her photo shoot for hair and makeup with our stylist. Afterwards, we visited one of my new favorite locations that offers so much unique architectural backdrops and urban goodness. School started today for our household ... and can I just say, I am not ready...for so many reasons. Usually, summer means a more relaxed schedule for us, allowing us some time to unwind. This summer seemed to fly by ... so fast! Now it's back to the daily grind, we will adjust and embrace the new routine but I do just wish things would slow down a bit. It seems just like yesterday that my youngest started kindergarten and now he is in the middle of high school already...and with just two years left...I selfishly want them to crawl by so I can keep him close just a little longer.
On the business side of things - things have been busy ... from maternity to cake smash to high school seniors to family, baby and newborn photography. Inside and outside of the studio we have been hopping!
Speaking of that, we have a few more spaces on our calendar for senior portraits and now is the time to schedule. Many high schools have early yearbook deadlines, so schedule your senior picture photo shoot now to allow plenty of time for the session, editing and delivery of your images.

She is like a ray of sunshine! I have had the honor of photographing this sweet girl for many years now. I love when clients return year after year, it helps children build a level of comfort with the photographer and that makes all the difference.
During this photo shoot, this sweet girl and I giggled more than anything because she was comfortable with me. She knows me and I know her ... I know how to get the expressions I am looking for because I know what makes her giggle. :)
If there is one thing I could suggest for family photography or child photography, it is to work with the same photographer, it really builds the comfort level during photo shoots for children and family members.

I love when we have the opportunity to highlight high school seniors. The senior year is a special season of life, one to be treasured with wonderful memories. We always strive to make each portrait session special, focusing on the unique personality and style of each senior. We worked through 5 wardrobe changes and captured a variety of backgrounds, but this dress and this portrait is one of her very favorites.
