She arrived at the studio much older than most babies we photograph, but since she was a preemie, she was about the size of an average newborn. I had prepared mom that she may not sleep quite so well since she was so much older … but boy did she surprise us! This baby girl visited the studio for her 4 month milestone photo shoot. We are always giddy to see our little baby portrait planners return to the studio and to see how they have grown!
Wide awake and completely calm and alert is ho she arrived, she shared plenty of smiles with us, which we will share soon, but I love this little baby gaze. The baby gaze is actually a look I always try to capture. It's signature to the first months of baby's development and defines the beginning of their stage of curiosity where they are visualizing things with curiosity. The end result is a sweet, precious capture I like to call the baby gaze.
